The existing underground mains were prone to regular bursts, leading to loss of supply and commercial downtime into the production factory.
Our Solution
To address the issues they were having, we designed and installed a new overground route to reduce interruptions to supply, improving resilience and minimising the risk of future downtime.
The project included a combination of above-ground and below-ground works, incorporating installation of 308m of 200mm MDPE pipework laid underground in trench, and 164m of 125mm PE pipework surface-mounted on brackets, along with new connections and integration into existing systems.
